Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Ali earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from Tufts University in 2001. He spent nearly 20 years deepening his education with additional certifications in implantology, dental sedation, and specific surgical techniques. After seeing the profound benefits of anesthesia in dentistry, Dr. Ali completed a Hospital-Based Anesthesia Residency program in the Level 1 Trauma Center at NYU Lutheran, which included operating room experience. With postgraduate training in Ambulatory Pediatric Anesthesia and specialized education in providing general anesthesia to people with special needs, Dr. Ali went on to provide anesthesia services to over 50 dental clinics throughout Northern VA and the Richmond area. Dr. Ali dedicates his professional career and free time to improving the lives of people with special needs. He regularly participates with groups such as the Special Olympics, EID (Exceptional Individuals with Dreams), and DSANV (The Down Syndrome Association of Northern Virginia).

He then completed a Hospital-Based Dental Anesthesiology residency at the prestigious University of Pittsburgh Medical Center to become a certified Dentist Anesthesiologist. Dr. Ali believes in the potential for safe and effective pain control and anxiety reduction, enabling patients to receive quality dental treatments that will improve their overall well-being. He is committed to giving back to the community. He dedicates much of his free time to service activities such as dental mission trips locally and abroad, free dental clinics throughout Northern and Central Virginia, and staying active with special needs community service groups such as KEEN (Kids Enjoy Exercise Now), DSANV’s Buddy Walk, and Special Olympics.
